Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Awareness and Safety Course
Available exclusively to RMI members, this foundational course is delivered on-site at the garage premises, making it convenient for technicians and apprentices with limited experience in hybrid vehicles. No prior knowledge is required, making it an ideal introduction for those new to EV technology. Participants will learn key safety protocols when working on or around hybrid vehicles, including how to identify various hybrid vehicle configurations and understand potential hazards associated with high-voltage systems. Additionally, the course equips technicians with the skills to safely isolate high-voltage systems to ensure safe working conditions.

Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Routine Maintenance - Level 2
This two-day vocational program is designed for technicians who already possess a Level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair. Conducted at RMI training academies, this course builds on fundamental skills by providing in-depth training on safely managing both high and low voltage systems within hybrid and electric vehicles. Technicians will gain hands-on experience in safely working around these electrical systems while performing routine maintenance and repairs. By the end of this qualification, technicians will have developed a comprehensive understanding of EV technologies and the associated safety precautions.

Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Repair - Level 3
This advanced, three-day course is tailored to experienced technicians who diagnose faults and carry out repair and replacements on Electric Hybrid and Electrically propelled vehicles. Held at RMI training academies, this course delves into the latest EV technologies, covering the full range of hybrid and electric vehicle types. Emphasis is placed on developing a thorough understanding of electric vehicle systems and mastering safe repair practices. Participants will leave with expert-level knowledge on diagnostics, repair, and safe handling of high-voltage systems.
