What is SERMI?
Standing for: Security-related Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Information, SERMI was created over twenty years ago to develop, operate and maintain a scheme and process to allow independent operators to have access to security-related vehicle information. SERMI aims to approve and authorise independent garages and service providers to have the same level of access as that of a vehicle manufacturer’s to enable processes such as programming keys and unlocking immobilisers.
